Why I Started Tip Top Teaching

Every child learns differently, and sometimes the pace of a busy classroom doesn’t leave room for the extra explanation, encouragement, or confidence-building that makes a subject finally “click.”

Tip Top Teaching was built around a simple idea: personalised, patient, small group support helps children not just catch up, but genuinely enjoy learning again and develop independent skills needed for exams.

Whether it’s building core skills in maths and English, preparing for SATs, or simply restoring a child’s confidence after a tricky term, my goal is always the same — to help every pupil reach for the stars!
